Getting started
No. You can open the app and plan a whole trip without signing up — your trips save on your device. Creating an account is optional and just lets your trips sync across devices.
Open the app, tap Start a trip, give it a name (and optionally a destination, budget, and vibe), and you'll land in the trip with tabs for Dates, Itinerary, Expenses, and Crew.
The crew is always free. There's an optional upgrade called WeGoing! Coordinated that an organizer can add to a single trip for the smart-coordination features — see pricing for details.
Planning a trip
In the Dates tab, add a few date ranges, then vote for the ones that work. The option with the most votes is marked the front runner so the group can lock it in.
In the Expenses tab, log what each person paid and who it should be split between. WeGoing! totals it, shows an even split per person, and calculates who owes whom. It's bookkeeping — the app doesn't move money or process payments.
Yes. In the Crew tab you can add anyone by name and mark them Readyas they lock in. You don't need their account or contact permissions.
Accounts & data
Use the Sign in button in the app. You can use email and password, a one-tap email magic link, or Google/Apple sign-in. Once signed in, your trips sync to your account.
Signed out, trips stay on your device. Signed in, they're stored in your account so they sync across devices. Either way, only you can see your trips. Full detail is in our privacy notice.
You can delete any trip from within the app. To clear everything on a device, use the app's Delete data option. To delete an entire account and its synced trips, email contact@wegoingapp.com and we'll remove it.

Troubleshooting
If you were signed out, trips are stored only in that browser or device — clearing browsing data or switching devices won't carry them over. Signing inkeeps them synced to your account so this doesn't happen. If something still looks wrong, email us and we'll help.
